Welcome to St Sampson's C.E. Junior School.  I hope that you will our webite informative and useful in finding out a little more about our school.

Our children are the key to the success of our school. We aim to ensure they are motivated by learning and offered the best opportunities that we can provide.

We hope that they will be respectful and well behaved individuals, who develop high self-esteem and independence.

Being at St. Sampson's Junior School is very much about being part of an exciting community.  We encourage the very best from our children and aim to help them realise their fullest potential and to recognise their many talents.  We also believe in fostering positive and constructive attitudes, which encourage our children to understand their role, contribution and responsibility both as part of our school and the wider community.  We pride ourselves on our positive relationships with everyone connected directly to the school and intend to continue to develop our links with the wider community.

We recognise that extra-curricular and non-statutory activities enrich the more formal curriculum that the school offers.  We are known in the wider community for our excellence in the performing arts. Within the curriculum we offer exciting music and drama activities and also aim to extend children's experiences through encouraging attendance at a variety of 'out of hours' clubs, visits and residential trips.
